Cake Batter Ice Cream

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup white cake mix

Instructions
 

  • Since it is unsafe to consume raw flour be sure to bake the cake mix for about 5 minutes at 350 degrees F before using and allow to cool completely.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, sugar, whole milk, vanilla extract, and white cake mix.
  • Fill the ice cream maker with the mixture and allow it to run for 15-20 minutes.
  • Serve or freeze for later. Ice cream will be very soft right out of the machine.
  • Tip:  When making ice cream be sure to keep your cold ingredients in the fridge and your frozen ice cream insert in the freezer until you are ready to use.
