Valentine’s Day is about celebrating love and since we love S an extra special dinner is a requirement! Plus I do not like to go out and eat on Valentine’s Day because the restaurants are so busy!
Menu
A love inspired menu that my daughter would enjoy was a must for our Valentine’s Day dinner. We made homemade cheese pizza shaped kinda like a heart ๐ I know a lot of time pizza companies make heart shaped pizzas for Valentine’s Day.
We also made strawberry and marshmallow skewers. We sliced up strawberries and alternated feeding them with marshmallows on to a paper straw.
We rounded out our dinner with pink lemonade and a cake.
Decor
We used milk bottles and mason jars to hold our drinks. We added paper straws with cardstock banners attached to them. We had little clear glass containers filled with Valentine’s Day M&M’s.
We had a lot of fun planning, making and eating our special Valentine’s Day dinner!
Do you make Valentine’s Day special for your kids? Or do you consider it more of an adult holiday?

Your party is too cute. I’m in love with the strawberry skewers on the beautiful paper straws. The banners on the straws are so adorable. And all of the bright colors add such a festive air to your party. All of my kids are grown, but I did make Valentine’s Day special for them back in the day. Now it’s all about the grands and the hubs. ๐

Thank you Alli! The skewers were so easy to make! And S had so much fun eating the strawberries off of it.
