As most of you know I grew up as an army brat so I have traveled the world. When MunchPak contacted me and asked me if they could send me one of their Original MunchPaks to try out snacks from around the world I was excited. I love trying out new snacks!
My MunchPak arrived quickly and I could not wait to see what was inside. My daughter gave almost every snack five stars. There were a couple that were not my favorite but that would not deter me from getting MunchPak again because everyone has different tastes and not every snack can be your favorite.
What I did find though with the snacks was that they tended to be not as sweet if they were supposed to be a sweet snack and less of an intense flavor. For example one of the snacks was supposed to have a strawberry flavor but it was a very mild strawberry flavor.
We ended up taking our snacks on a road trip with us which was lots of fun in the car. We got to try the snacks and discuss what we liked and disliked about the snack. It helped pass the time in the car.
What’s always fun about trying new snacks is that something you think you might like looking at the package or the description might end up being your least favorite and one that you think you may not like ends up being your favorite. For example, my favorite piece from the package was the Choco Boy, however I thought the package was hilarious!
The only thing I didn’t like was that I had a hard time figuring out what country some of the snacks were from. Particularly the C’est Bon snack is made in Turkey but it was obviously written in French! However good news, starting early this year, MunchPak will be offering an app where you can scan the snack and they will tell you what country it’s from, the ingredients and the app makes it easy if you’d like to order more of a particular snack.
If you are looking for a fun and yummy subscription box, MunchPak is an excellent choice!
