Yellowstone National Park
We are planning a big camping trip this summer to Yellowstone National Park! I am so excited because I have never been to Yellowstone before. Plus we are planning on spending extra nights on our way out to Yellowstone and back in Colorado and Oklahoma. I am hoping that we will be able to add 5 states to our Photo Travel Map and cross off 5 states from S’s list of visiting all 50 states before she graduates from high school!
Some must visits for me while visiting Yellowstone National Park is observing geysers, mud pots, mammoth springs, Yellowstone Grand Canyon and wildlife. We also plan to take time to explore Grant Teton National Park. Let me know what your favorite spot was at Yellowstone so I can be sure to add it to my list.
Disney World
We have not taken a family trip to Disney World since December 2014. I think this is the longest we have gone without a family trip to Disney World for many, many years. Even S made the comment that she missed Disney World. I am not sure what time of year I would like to visit this time because our two favorites are when the Food and Wine Festival is going on and when the Christmas decorations are up.
Camping Trips
We are hoping to take many camping trips in 2016 with some being just weekend trips (2 nights) and long weekend trips (3-4 nights). We would like to visit some Louisiana State Parks, take an Alabama beach trip and take in a couple Mississippi campgrounds too.
Crater of Diamonds State Park, Arkansas
We were wanting to visit Crater of Diamonds State Park in 2015 but never made it. You can actually dig for diamonds and keep what you find- how cool is that!
