Are you always looking for quick dinner ideas that the whole family will enjoy? This flavorful and savory Three Cheese Pesto Pizza is a family favorite. It’s easy to make and customizable to your family’s tastes. One of the reasons this recipe is so easy to make is that I use remade pizza crust dough and Barilla Creamy Genovese Pesto for the sauce.
If you would like to use homemade pizza dough this recipe is one of our favorites.
The flavor-packed Barilla Creamy Genovese Pesto has a creamy, smooth texture and savory taste. It is made with fragrant Italian basil and freshly grated Italian cheese and imported from Parma, Italy.
I love keeping a jar of Barilla Creamy Genovese Pesto in my pantry because it is such a versatile and convenient staple. Having a jar on hand will help you make a variety of meals quickly that satisfies your cravings for Italian food. Some delicious options include:
- Stirring the pesto into warm pasta or grains (one jar of pesto to one 16-ounce box of pasta)
- Spreading the pesto onto sandwiches or toast
- Marinating meats and vegetables in the pesto
- Using the pesto as a dip for veggies or pita chips
