It’s a classic kids craft project – the handprint turkey!
Always a quick and easy craft project that also lets you track your child’s growth. The handprint turkey is also fun!
I used washable (finger or tempura) paint and painted on S’s hand. We did each “feather” a different color.
S loved me painting on her hand and then stamping it on the paper. She kept stamping over and over.
This craft is going to be something that we can look back on in several years and compare how much her hand has grown.
Have you made a turkey handprint with your child?

This is really cute, definitely thinking about doing this with my daughter this year.
I hope you give it a try Nicole! It is such a fun project to try!
I think the turkey handprints are too cute! I have to confess that when I was styling my Thanksgiving Kids’ table, I tried to make one with chalk and using my hand since I didn’t have a little one around. Let’s just say that I’m not near as good at it as you and S are! Awesome job and it looks just like a turkey!
Thank you Alli! I love your kids table and want to go find some vintage trucks!
This is such a cute idea! One of my best friends teaches preschool and this is a perfect Thanksgiving craft for her!
Kailey it would be a wonderful project for the kids to take home!
