The majority of our family lives 1200 miles away from us in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, we do not get to visit them as often as we would like. We talk about our family frequently and S is always saying how much she misses them, especially her cousin.
When we are visiting Wisconsin, S is always attached to her cousin. Therefore, I knew that she would love to have a CloudPets™ that she can sent message back and forth to her cousin. Plus, its a cute, soft and cuddly animal perfect for giving hugs to as she plays the messages. This new, one-of-a-kind product is perfect for S because she gets to hear our family’s voices, can send messages back and give hugs.
As a parent, I love the parental controls where only I am allowed to invite family to send S messages and I can also set up where I approve each message before it is sent through to our CloudPets™. The CloutPets™ app is free to download and available on both apple and android devices and required for the product to work properly.
We headed to our local Walmart to find our own CloudPets™. At our store they were at the front in the As Seen on TV aisle, however some stores have a pallet near the registers. S picked out the Walmart exclusive unicorn (there are also a puppy, kitty, bear and bunny) and be sure to pick up AA batteries as your CloudPets™ require three. Currently, CloudPets™ are available in select Walmart stores, but they will be available nationwide soon.
To see exactly how CloudPets™ works check out the How It Works video, however essentially our family records their messages on the app and sends them to S’s CloudPets™. The heart on the unicorn will start blinking and S will push the blue arrow to play the message. You can play back the message as many times as you want, however the CloudPets™ will only play the most recent message (you can access old messages within the app and resend them to the CloudPets™). S can record a message back by pushing the red arrow (the app must be open in order to record).
I love to see S’s face light up when her CloudPets™ heart starts blinking because she knows she has a special message. She will race right to it and hug her unicorn tight as she presses the blue arrow.
