I so very much love Easter! It’s all the good things of a celebration (time with family and delicious food) without any of the pressure. The feeling that spring is right around the corner, flowers are blooming, and bright colors are everywhere.

One of the great things about the time leading up to a holiday like Easter is creating amazing mini-moments with my family. A favorite is this Rainbow Sugar Cookie Bark! It is so easy to make using only three ingredients including STARBURST® Original Jellybeans Laydown Bag.
Rainbow Sugar Cookie Bark is super playful and fun. Each piece of bark has multiple colors of STARBURST® Jellybeans – “Hop to It”!
While I was picking up my ingredients for the Rainbow Sugar Cookie Bark, I grabbed some M&M’S® Caramel Laydown Bags. These are my husband’s favorite! Both STARBURST® Jellybeans and M&M’S® candies are perfect for baking with, to decorate with or to fill Easter eggs. Mars and Wrigley are making my life easier, stress-free, and keeping me on a budget this Easter with their basket building solutions.
- 1 pkg refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1 pkg vanilla flavored candy coating
- 1 pkg STARBURST® Original Jellybeans
- 1/2 cup SKITTLES® candies
- Roll out the sugar cookie dough to ¼ inch thickness on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Flour your rolling pin and dough as necessary to keep from sticking.
- Bake 14 minutes at 350˚ and let cool for five minutes.
- Divide candy coating in half and melt the first batch.
- Spread on top of sugar cookie and sprinkle with STARBURST® jellybeans and SKITTLES® candies grouped by color and laid in stripes.
- Melt the second half of candy coating and repeat.
- Let candy coating set up before breaking apart. Store in an airtight container.
I purchased all of my ingredients for Rainbow Sugar Cookie Bark at my local Walmart. I also stocked up on my family’s favorites like STARBURST® Jellybeans, M&M’S®Caramel candies, DOVE® Solid Milk Chocolate Bunny, STARBURST $1 Jellybean Egg, and SKITTLES® $1 Egg which I found in the seasonal section of my store.

What a fun a treat to usher in Spring. I love that this uses sugar cookies as the base and then compliments it with different types of candies.
