These Pumpkin 7 Layer Bars are ridiculously easy to make and a delicious fall treat!
Growing up whenever we had family get-togethers my great-aunt always brought delicious desserts. I remember no matter when we visited her house she always had something sweet to serve us! One of my favorite bars that she makes is the 7 Layer Bar also called Magic Bars.
For the fall season, I decided to change up my normal 7 Layer Bars with a pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg twist. I tend to make a smaller batch of bars using an 8×8 pan which works well for our family of three but if you were making the bars for a party, you may want to double the batch.
This 7 Layer Bar is so yummy but rich! So I always cut my pieces smaller. This recipe is also adaptable based on your preferences or if you just want to switch up the ingredients. For example, if you do not like white chocolate chips substitute out peanut butter chips or butterscotch chips.
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups crushed graham crackers (crumb like consistency)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 can (7oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cloves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 8x8 pan with cooking spray.
- Mix graham crackers with butter and then press into the pan.
- Combine sweetened condensed milk, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Spread 3/4 of the pumpkin mixture over the crust.
- Evenly layer milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, white chocolate chips and coconut.
- Pour remaining pumpkin mixture over the pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
