Week 4 gave us our first snow in four years! <—-Really big deal here in the south, however I know much of the country had a little too much snow this winter.
We spent our snow day outside building snowmen. This was really important to S because since we saw Frozen in the theater we have been singing the ‘Do you want to build a snowman?’ and S will say I don’t know how to build a snowman. Now I don’t feel like I have deprived my child…she has built a couple snowmen even if they were small. We also had a snowball fight and made snow angels.
Here’s the left and right pages:
I love this paper from October Afternoon! I think I was more excited that I finally got to use some of my snow/snowflake supplies than the actual snow.
I had a photo heavy week and ended up with a lot of journaling spots on top of my photos using piece of paper, stickers, etc.
I caught S using a Southern accent when she was playing with her Octonauts. I have never heard her use that accent before – I had to capture the moment.

I miss the SNOW days we used to have in the Mckinney area / Dallas area.. We get just a tiny bit of ice and they call it a snow day but it is no fun.

I have a note in my phone to remind me of this amazing idea for 2015. I take photos daily and would love to be able to use them somehow after the year has come and gone.
