Week 2 of 2014 we experienced some cold weather for Louisiana…brrrr and some really nice weather…crazy winter! My new fountain that we just got working last week was completely covered in icicles this week. Well at least it was pretty and S liked it. I always like to use my handwriting on my pages, even though it is not great and I make mistakes, I like the personal touch that my handwriting adds. I used letter stickers from Crate Paper Oh Darling 6×12 Stickers that read adorable to spell out car, cutting the C out of the O. I took a video of S driving her new car around and then created a QR Code to be able to view the video while looking through the album. I have directions on how I create QR Codes of videos here.
The paper for the journling cards are: Amy Tangerine Cut and Paste Mini Kit and We R Memory Keepers Daily DIY.
I used the following: Crate Paper Oh Darling Sweetie Pie Paper, Crate Paper Oh Darling and Maggie Holmes Styleboard Vellum Shapes, Crate Paper Oh Darling 6×12 Stickers and Ephemera Pack, Dear Lizzy Daydreamer Enamel Dots, Studio Calico Chipboard Heart and Wood Veneer, Chic Tags School House Label Stickers and October Afternoon Apple Cider Flash Blurbs.

“Scrapbooking” has really come a long way since I last attempted it – 15 years ago for my wedding album! Cute designs and great idea for the QR code!
