New Years Eve Mocktails

December 20, 2016 By: mybigfathappylife

New Years Eve Mocktails, perfect to bring in the New Year with your kids | mybigfathappylife.com

I remember when I was little, my family always stayed up watching movies together to bring in the new year.  I continue on that tradition with my daughter (although we have yet to make it all the way to midnight).  I want my daughter to feel included in the New Year Eve celebration.  A great way to do that is to make her a special mocktail that she can enjoy.  Last year I shared 4 kid friendly mocktails.  You can find those here; this year I am sharing two more mocktails.

Blackberry Mojitail

My daughter said this Blackberry Mojitail was so pretty and I have to agree.  Start by taking 4 blackberries and muddling them in the bottom of a glass.  Then pour in sparkling white grape juice to fill up the glass.  Place a blackberry on the rim of the glass and add a festive straw.

Gummy Bear Fizz

This mocktail is really fun!  Place 10 gummy bears in the bottom of a glass (you could add more or less).  Then fill the glass with lemon lime soda and top with another festive straw.
