There are certain holidays that you really feel compelled to find the perfect gift to express your love. Mother’s Day is definitely one of those holidays! Mother’s Day will be here before we know it – Sunday, May 13th!
One way to give the perfect gift is to really think about the person that you are buying for. I love to read! Last year, I read Kristy Woodson Harvey’s first novel in the Peach Tree series: Slightly South of Simple and have been anxiously awaiting her sequel The Secret to Southern Charm which was just released this week!
The Secret to Southern Charm picks up where Slightly South of Simple left off with Sloane in the depth of despair after finding out her military husband is missing in action. The story continues following the three generations of women as they come together and support one another through heartbreak and fears. Reading The Secret to Southern Charm felt like reconnecting with old friends. Once you get to know the family, you’ll laugh with them and cry with them. I am already looking forward to reading book 3.
