A couple weeks ago, I had posted on my Facebook page about a special Kiwi Crate had running where you could get a free trial crate, you just had to pay for shipping. Kiwi Crate is a kids subscription box that promotes creativity. The trial crate only had one activity instead of the usual 2-3 activities.
We received our trial crate in the mail last week and S was so excited that a box was delivered for her.
The box contained everything that S needed to assemble a Starlight Lantern. There was a pamphlet with a short story and other craft ideas related to glow animals/plants.
This crate came with a long reaching star punch. That is so awesome because S can continue to use the star punch for other activities and to scrapbook with. Note: The easiest way to punch is to place on a hard surface and push down.
After punching out as many stars as she wanted in all different patterns on 4 pieces of vellum, S attached the them to the lantern.
S attached the the handle, turn on the battery operated candle and placed the top on.
This lantern has been used several nights for a nightlight by S!
We also ended up with lots of supplies left over that S can use on additional projects. I am loving that punch!
S loved the Kiwi Crate subscription box! We will try a full month subscription box and see how it goes from there.

I’m loving that punch, too! I’m thinking that this would make an awesome Christmas gift subscription for kids. Thanks for sharing.
Kiwi Crate would make an awesome Christmas gift that lasts all year!
Looks like a lot of fun for the children for sure! S looks really happy with her cute lantern. I imagine all children would enjoy the Kiwi crate.
Thank you Shirley. She really enjoyed making the lantern.
So cute! We got to give Kiwi Crate a try and were really pleased with how everything turned out! This looks like another fun craft!
I am glad you and your children enjoyed Kiwi Crate too!
You always have the greatest ideas to keep your daughter entertained! I love it!
Thank you Logan!
I have been on the fence about Kiwi Crate not really knowing if each crate just had enough for one project – thanks for clarifying that sometimes there are extra supplies or tools that can be used in the future!
What I understand is everything you need to make the activities in the crate is included. Which is awesome! I don’t have to worry about not having something on hand.
I actually never heard of Kiwi Crate Paris. Looks like a fun company to make creative crafts- something my daughters would love. Your daughter’s lantern turned out great!
There was so much creative fun going on with Kiwi Crate box. Thank you Louida!
I’ve always wondered if these kiwi crates were a good thing….it’s great to get another mother’s opinion on it. Thanks for sharing!
We are looking forward to our next box.
Wow! This looks really cool! My kiddies love crafts and hands on type activities so this woul dbe amazing.
It’s a really fun subscription box. I am anxious to see what activities the next one will have in it.
I just ordered Connor a Citrus Lane box and I’m hoping it’s a hit.
I’m glad you enjoyed your box, I’ve heard mix reviews on some of these monthly box subscriptions.
I hope you like his Citrus Lane box. I don’t think subscription boxes can hit the nail on the head each time 🙂
Looks like such a fun box!
Yes, Kristin it was!
This is SUCH an amazing project. Usually I see projects from kits and I’m like ho hum. But this is so cool.
Thanks Madaline! The lantern was nice since it was so useful!

Have a great day!
I had been wondering whether their boxes were worth the money – that activity looks wonderful, and I love how you can use the equipment for other things afterwards.
We really enjoyed the trial crate, I’m curious about the full crate and that one should be shipping soon.
