K-12 Art Lessons: ArtSquish Review

S loves art!  She will grab a notebook and happily draw while waiting at restaurants, in the car or just about anywhere.  However, she also loves to paint.  

I want to continue to develop her creativity and love for art.  ArtSquish is the perfect essential site to Art Educators or homeschoolers.

ArtSquish is essential to Art Educators or homeschooling parents.  They offer lesson plans, classroom teaching outlines, lesson objectives and sample classroom discussions and videos.  The in-depth lessons are arranged in a logical order with lots of variety.  Having all the planning done for you makes teaching art to your students or child easy. 

There are 2 Sections to Artsquish:

  • Free JuiceBar which is a blog that offers information about teaching art, tips, tricks and techniques.
  • Subscriber section which is the art class with weekly lessons, a teaching system, and classroom how-to articles; everything you need to be teach children art.

With ArtSquish, you get a new lesson each week (and access to previous lessons) and each lessons is arranged by grade level. With a subscription,  you will get weekly lessons as well as access to past lessons.  Each lesson has everything that you will need to teach along with a list of needed materials.
