Everything you need to know about cruising on Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas including dining, entertainment, and more.
Over the summer, my family and I took a 7-night Greek cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed our cruise. We enjoyed the smaller size of the ship, the food, and the staff onboard, however, I do think that the ship is due for an update.
You can read more about our port days here: Athens, Greece; Mykonos, Greece; Chania, Crete; Kotor, Montenegro; and Split, Croatia.
I am sharing below everything that you need to know about sailing on the Royal Caribbean’s Enchantment of the Seas.
Staterooms
Enchantment of the Seas has a variety of staterooms to choose from including inside, ocean view, balcony, and suites. All their staterooms offer plenty of storage with space until the bed for your suitcases. Staterooms include daily housekeeping service.
We had an ocean-view stateroom on this cruise and while the room was smaller than what I am used to with Disney Cruise Line, there was still plenty of room for the three of us. The third bed that comes down from the ceiling is over top of the main bed which means you do have to be careful getting in and out of bed.
Main Dining
The main dining room on the Enchantment of the Seas is two stories, so be sure to check your table number, so that you know which floor to access the dining room from. We were on the 5th floor and it felt more intimate with fewer tables and a lot of open space around us.
Our waitstaff was amazing and truthfully better than the last couple of Disney cruises. They spent time talking to us about our day every evening. We got to know them, where they were from, about their families, etc. In addition, we found the food on the Enchantment of the Seas to be delicious. The menu had a nice selection of choices including some standard items along with themed nightly dishes.
Quick Dining
Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Windjammer Cafe is a buffet with different stations to choose from global and American favorites. We found the food at Windjammer Cafe to be just ok, I ate a lot at the salad bar while my family chose the burger station. They did offer lots of delicious desserts.
Our go-to quick service location when we were hungry was Park Cafe. They offered breakfast sandwiches, muffins, yogurt parfaits, and cereal in the mornings along with coffee, juice, and milk. In the afternoon, you can choose from made-to-order deli items like salads and sandwiches along with the signature “Kummelweck” roast beef sandwich. They also offered pizza and a selection of desserts (they seemed to be the same ones offered at Windjammer Cafe). On our cruise, we noticed when Windjammer Cafe closed after lunch service was when Park Cafe opened in the afternoons.
Located on deck 6, two floors above the centrum is Cafe Latte-Tudes where you can purchase specialty coffee beverages all day. Located right next door is Ben & Jerry’s (cost extra) where you can indulge in a special treat like ice cream, shake, sundae, or smoothie.
The popular signature steakhouse, Chops Grille, is a great place to enjoy steaks, fresh seafood, and delicious desserts. This restaurant costs extra.
Room Service is also available however there is a delivery fee for all services except continental breakfast.
