These Glazed Lemon Sugar Cookies are full of bright lemon flavor with sweet lemon glaze!

Glazed Lemon Sugar Cookies
To get the perfect lemon flavor you need to use fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and lemon extract. I found lemon extract at my local grocery store in the spices section.
In a food processor, combine butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Then add eggs, vanilla, lemon juice, and lemon zest and mix until combined. Mix in flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
Using a cookie scoop, place cookies evenly spaced on your parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake for 9-12 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool slightly.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. If needed, add in a little more powdered sugar or lemon juice. The icing should be thick and not too runny. Spoon the icing over the cookies and let harden before serving.

- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
