I don’t know about where you live, but in central Texas it’s hot! I don’t just mean a little hot, but the kind of hot that you melt as soon as you go outside! When it is this hot outside the only thing I want is frozen desserts, like frozen hot chocolate!
Frozen hot chocolate is our go-to summer treat! It is just the thing to dazzle the senses and cool you off on a hot day! In fact, my daughter usually asks for frozen hot chocolate more often than traditional.
We always dress up our frozen hot chocolate with Reddi-wip Original Whipped Topping, sprinkles, and candy. This time we decided to try out a theme and make a decadent Galaxy Frozen Hot Chocolate.
The best frozen hot chocolate is made with Swiss Miss® Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix because it is made with real milk, which makes the frozen hot chocolate rich and creamy. Topping our frozen hot chocolate with a dollop of Reddi-wip Original Whipped Topping is a must because it is made with real cream!

Galaxy Frozen Hot Chocolate
Melt blue and purple candy melts according to the package and drip on the inside of the glass. Place the glass in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to set.
Melt black candy melts according to the package and dip the top rim of your glass in. Then sprinkle the rim with star sprinkles. Place your glass in the fridge while you make the frozen hot chocolate.
In a blender, combine ice, milk and Swiss Miss® Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix until smooth.
Add frozen hot chocolate to the glass.
Then top with cotton candy (add to a lollipop stick or chopstick, so that it stays in place) and a cosmic swirl lollipop.
Next add a dollop of Reddi-wip, pop rock candy, and a black and white striped straw.

- 2 packets of Swiss Miss® Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix
- 1 cup of ice
- 1/2 cup of milk
- blue, purple, and black candy melts
- star sprinkles
- Reddi-wip
- Toppings: cotton candy, cosmic swirl lollipop, pop rock candy, and a black and white striped straw
