It is hard to believe that the school year is back in session! In the south, we tend to start school in the beginning of August. First day of school photos are a tradition that I remember having to partake in when I was a kid and so it’s something that I have started with S and plan to continue through high school.
Last year, I shared my tips for taking fun first day of school photos. We are lucky that we homeschool/virtual school so I have plenty of time in the morning to capture S’s first day of school without being rushed.
This year I decided to create my own first day of school printable and I have to say I love how they turned out. I went ahead and made one for each grades pre-k through 12th so that I could share them with you. All you have to do is print the page that you want. I printed mine on cardstock, so that it was a little thicker to hold up for my daughter.

School went back about two weeks ago for us so they are ripping and rolling. I love this printable I did one last year but school crept up on me this year so I didn’t get a chance to get one done.

My kiddos headed back at the end of July. I guess I dread the first day almost as much as the kids do so I forget to make signs or look for awesome printables like these to print. I always get pictures on the first day but it’s getting hard to tell the years apart, they stand in the same spot.
