An in-depth look at the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship the Disney Wish.
One of the most anticipated additions to the new Disney Wish was the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge. While being transported throughout the Star Wars galaxy enjoy out-of-this-world concoctions in this one-of-a-kind lounge: Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge. While during the day families are invited to visit Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, at night the lounge becomes adults only. This is one of the top spots to visit on the Disney Wish.
We visited Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge twice during our cruise and really enjoyed the experience. The cast members were on point, the drinks that we had were delicious, and the atmosphere was fun! Side note: I am not a huge Star Wars fan and still really enjoyed the experience.
When the Disney Wish first started sailing, reservations had to be made in the app and were available to be made upon embarking. However, now there are no reservations available and you must stand in line to be able to experience the lounge.
Atmosphere
The lounge is an immersive theme that is inspired by a spacecraft in a galaxy far, far away. While sitting in the lounge you have out-of-this-world “views” outside the spacecraft of planets and intergalactic space vehicles. You may also experience hyperspace during your visit.
Drink Options
There are a lot of different drink options to choose from including mixed drinks, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks. We had six different drinks at Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge and we enjoyed them all.
My daughter had both non-alcoholic (zero-proof) drinks and while both were good she preferred the Temple Twist. My husband really enjoyed the Mustafarian Black Ale and my favorite mixed drink was the Batuu | Spire Sunset.
Be forewarned that there is a $5,000 drink on the menu – Kaiburr Crystal. We made sure to stay away from this drink! It is definitely outside of my budget.
