Inspiring Dreams with Disney Princesses

Are Disney Princesses a favorite in your house?  My daughter loves Disney Princesses and I love what great role models they are.  All Disney Princesses have a lot of wonderful qualities including being strong-willed, generous, unique and courageous.  The Princesses always follow their dream and I want to make sure that my daughter always follows hers.

Have you seen the new Disney “Dream Big, Princess” video?  It is so inspiring and positive for young girls to see that they can be anything they want to be and to never stop dreaming big.

S is six years old and wants to be an artist when she grows up.  She loves to paint, draw and scrapbook.  She often pretends that she is filming tutorial videos and walks her audience through how to accomplish the same technique that she is showing.  S has been dreaming of making her own video.  It was time for me to assist her in making her first tutorial video creating a Dream Big print to encourage other girls to follow their dreams.

Dream Big Print

To create the Dream Big print, S gathered her supplies: ink pads in pink and purple, wax paper, water + paintbrush and white cardstock and Rapunzel for support.  Take one ink pad and smush it onto a piece of wax paper.  Using a paint brush with water on it rub the ink around on the wax paper.  Then flip the wax paper over onto your cardstock and press into the paper.  Lift up the wax paper and press onto your cardstock again and again until you like the result or you run out of ink.  Switch to another color and repeat.  Add the words Dream Big to your print.  You could use stamps, stickers or your own handwriting.

Imaginative Play

I enjoy shopping at Toys “R” Us because they have a dedicated aisle to Disney Princesses and exclusive options!  The new “Dream Big, Princess” Princesses have their own end cap located near the Disney Princess aisle.

We always have lots of pieces of paper around with drawings and painting on them.  Having a wonderful support system that inspires you to stop at nothing to achieve your dreams is priceless!  All eleven princesses are available in the Disney Princess Royal Shimmer Dolls line with removable shoes and a shimmering gown in an ombre signature color.  

I have never seen S sing so much as she has in the past week with Princess Ariel Sing & Shimmer doll!  When you press Ariel’s jeweled necklace she sings “Part of Your World”.

This Little Kingdom Ariel’s Sea Castle is compatible with all the other Little Kingdom products.  Ariel can sit, stand, slide, swing or strap into the seaweed harness which allows S to think up many different adventures for her to go on.
