This Halloween serve your family mini donuts on DIY Broomstick Skewers. They will delight in this fun and magical breakfast treat.
I am a big believer in creating special moments for my family. Those special moments are the ones that my daughter talks about long after they happen. I know that my family will delight in this unique breakfast for Halloween morning: Witch’s Broomstick Skewers with mini donuts.
The broomsticks skewers are so easy to assemble and are the perfect spot to add a couple of mini donuts! I couldn’t decide between chocolate or powdered, so I ended up with both.
These Witch’s Broomstick Skewers would also be a great addition to a Halloween party! You could serve mini donuts at the party or switch them out for fruit, cookies, or brownie bites. The possibilities are endless!
These broomstick skewers will take your breakfast or party to the next level and impress your guests! If you are looking for more Halloween DIYs and recipes, click here. The DIY potion bottles with free printable is one of my favorites!
Broomstick Skewers
You will need:
- 1 bunch raffia
- 12 wooden bamboo skewers
- embroidery floss
- scissors
- hot glue gun and sticks
Directions:
Gather a small bunch of raffia approximately 12 stands and trim to 6″ wide. Fold the raffia in half and apply some hot glue in the middle at the top to hold it together. Place the blunt end of the skewer into the glue.
Wrap some embroidery floss around the broom bristles and secure it into place with a knot. Trim the ends of your broom until you get the look you are after. Slide the mini donuts (or fruit, cookies, brownie bites, etc.) onto the skewer and enjoy!
