We will be taking our third Disney Cruise later this month, so I thought I would provide a round up of posts I have written about our previous cruises. We have thoroughly enjoyed our previous cruises and cannot wait for our next one. A few of my favorite reasons for cruising with Disney is the excellent service, wonderful food, fun activities for both kids and adults aboard the ship and broadway style shows.
General Disney Cruise Line
If you are going to be taking your first Disney cruise, you may find my 10 Tips for First Time Disney Cruiser helpful. If your cruise will be on the Disney Wonder, I have some information on what you can expect on the ship.
If your Disney Cruise has a stop at Castaway Cay (Disney’s Private Island) here are 11 Things to Know About the Island. We really enjoyed our time on the island. It is a great way to unwind and not have to worry about anything since it is like an extension of the ship.
If you plan on taking a Halloween on the High Seas, check out all the extra activities going on on the ships.
Eastern Caribbean Cruise
We had two stops in St. Maarten and St. Thomas on our Eastern Caribbean cruise. I shared What Not to Do in St. Maarten and What to Do Instead. Our favorite excursion so far in the Caribbean is visiting Coral World on St. Thomas.
Alaska Cruise
Our favorite cruise by far is the 9-night Disney Cruise to Alaska! Alaska is so beautiful and if you can afford it I would highly recommend a veranda cabin so that you can enjoy the views, spot whales and take in icebergs in Tracy Arm Fjord. My favorite city during our Alaskan cruise was Sitka! However, my favorite excursion was Whale Watching in Juneau.
We also enjoyed our White Pass train ride from Skagway to Fraser, BC. If you are looking for adventure in Ketchikan, try snorkeling otherwise here are some things to explore in the city.
