Since fall has hit are you in the mood for comfort food? I am! There are just certain foods that I always associate with fall including homemade macaroni and cheese, soups and pot pie particularly chicken pot pie.
Marie Callender’s Chicken Pot Pie tastes just like homemade and it is a quick dinner solution on busy nights that allows me to spend more time together as a family. With the holiday season quickly approaching, being able to assemble a wholesome dinner that the whole family likes makes my life easier. My mom always used to make chicken pot pie paired with fruit salad, so this meal definitely brings back memories too!
Marie Callender’s Chicken Pot Pie and Fruit Salad remind me of dinners my mom used to make when I was growing up. I want to create those same memories for my daughter. The holiday season is always a busy time but knowing that I can put together a quick meal that the whole family will enjoy makes my life easier.
The Honey Fruit Salad is easy to assemble and the fresh fruit can be changed out for your favorites or what is in season. I am a big fan of the combination of hot chicken pot pie full of vegetables with the cold fruit salad.
I found everything that I needed for dinner conveniently at Walmart in the frozen dinner aisle and produce section. I love that Marie Callender’s Pot Pies are sold in a variety of flavors and sizes, so there is something to satisfy everyone in your family. I picked up two 10 oz chicken pot pies for S and myself and a 16 oz Cheesy Chicken and Bacon Pot Pie for my husband.
Pot Pie Baking Tip: Place foil along the edge of the crust to prevent burning.

Marie Callendar is definitely my favorite frozen pot pie. I never would have thought to pair it with the fruit salad (or anything else for that matter!). That fruit salad looks delicious, I’ll have to give it a try!
