What’s better than a root beer float? But a grown up Bourbon root beer float!
This is the perfect drink on a hot afternoon at the pool! Make one or make a whole tray.
This drink is customizable to how strong you prefer the alcohol to be. I like to barely taste the Bourbon, so I put a little more than a shot. My mom and husband love to taste the alcohol, so they put two shots in their drinks. Of course, if you have children around or nondrinkers just omit the alcohol all together in their glasses.

The first time I ever had this drink was when I was in the Navy, 1971! We were broke and when we ran out of other mixers, we mixed it with root beer….I imagine it was much better with the ice cream!! It has always been a running joke it my family!
