Does anyone else’s child come home from school hungry for a snack or just mine? One of our go-to snacks for fun and convenience is PAW Patrol™ Mozzarella String Cheese and PAW Patrol™ Colby Jack Snack Bites! While my family enjoys string cheese right out of the package we also love to include it in quick and easy recipes like baked cheese balls.
I really enjoy having my daughter help me in the kitchen and this healthier snack recipe is great for spending time together doing an after-school activity. Speaking of after-school activities, while our baked cheese balls baked in the oven, we also made easy DIY bird feeders using recycled paper towel/toilet paper tubes inspired by Rocky. My daughter’s favorite PAW Patrol pup is Rocky because he’s always picking up recyclables that he can re-use to save the day!
Baked Cheese Balls
PAW Patrol String Cheese is our go-to for snacks in our house because they are made with milk and are a good source of protein and calcium with 0 grams of sugar. They are the perfect cheese to use in this recipe, baked cheese balls.
Cut up string cheese into chunks. Dip the cheese into skim milk and then roll in Italian bread crumbs (perfect job for little hands).
Bake and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
I love shopping at my local HEB, it’s convenient, has a friendly staff, and they always have in stock what I am looking for. While out shopping at my HEB, I picked up both PAW Patrol Mozzarella String Cheese and PAW Patrol Colby Jack Snack Bites in the dairy aisle.
Ingredients
- 4 sticks of PAW Patrol String Cheese

- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- marinara sauce

DIY Bird Feeder
While our baked cheese balls were in the oven, S made DIY bird feeders using peanut butter, bird seed and toilet paper tubes or paper towel tube as a recyclable craft inspired by Rocky from PAW Patrol.
Materials:
1 toilet paper or paper towel tube
Peanut butter
Bird seed
Instructions:
Be sure to remove all of the excess paper that may be stuck to your tube and pour bird seed into a dish. Take a spatula or spoon and spread peanut butter over the entire outside of the toilet paper tube.
Once you have the tube completely covered with peanut butter pour your bird seed, roll the tube across the bird seed in a dish so that all the peanut butter is covered with bird seed.
Then go outside and slip your bird feeder over a tree branch! Wait for your feathery friends to visit.
Tell me about your after school activities and your child’s favorite snack! Do your children enjoy PAW Patrol String Cheese and PAW Patrol Colby Jack Snack Bites too?
