It is hard to believe that the school year is almost back in session! In the south, we tend to start school in the beginning of August. First day of school photos are a tradition that I remember having to partake in when I was a kid and so it’s something that I have started with S and plan to continue through high school.
If you are looking for tips for taking fun first day of school photos this post has a bunch of great ideas. We are lucky that we homeschool/virtual school so I have plenty of time in the morning to capture S’s first day of school without being rushed.
I created a set of first day of school printable and I have to say I love how they turned out. I made one for each grades pre-k through 12th so that I could share them with you. All you have to do is print the page that you want. I printed mine on cardstock, so that it was a little thicker to hold up for my daughter.
You can download the first day of school free printable here.
I’d love to see pictures if you use my printable!
When do your children start school this year?

I love your signs, but the one I need (4th grade) is off center.
