I am not a morning person, at all! I have always been a night person, but now even more because I stay up late working on my blog when my daughter is asleep. Therefore mornings come way too fast! My daughter wakes me up most mornings. And because I am lazy in the morning, my daughter and I usually play a puzzle app while cuddled together.
Then it’s always time for coffee and checking my email and social media networks. My daughter is homeschooled, so we usually have a pretty relaxed morning before we start in on her subjects. When the weather is nice you’ll usually find us outside or going to the park.
When we are out and about, I stop by and pick up my favorite coffeehouse tasting coffee from RaceTrac. No matter what mood I am in I can pick one of up to 6 blends of fresh brewed coffee and customize my cup with french vanilla creamer and sugar.
I am not going to lie to you but these amazing chocolate covered almonds sometimes get snuck in as a snack with my second cup of coffee when my daughter’s not looking. Shh don’t tell her, but I have them hidden in a super secret spot. I seriously love them!
New Year Resolutions
My daughter and I have been doing yoga once to twice a week depending on what we have going on. Well I really want to start doing yoga three-four times a week in the new year. I also want to add in more smoothies and fresh fruit yogurt parfaits to my diet.
No matter if we are staying inside, running around the backyard or heading out to visit the zoo, there’s no wrong way to start the day right.
