Who doesn’t want more time? Time always seems to speed up and go by faster and faster! Spending time with my daughter and creating memories is very important to me. Time in a Box is the perfect jump start to encourage me to spend more quality time with my daughter completing the activities.
What is Time in a Box?
Time in a Box contains 96 activity cards, divided by season. On each card is an activity for you to do with your child. Some are simple such as play a board game or make a blanket fort; others may take a little bit of planning such as visiting a local fire station or carry out an act of kindness.
Time in a Box also contains a contract between you and your child that sets that ground rules. It’s an agreement that you, as the parent, will complete the activity with your child when they choose, however if it is not possible to immediately complete the activity you promise to do so as soon as possible.

This looks like a prettier version of our little boredom box with scraps of paper in it. I like the idea of a pretty set of cards with room to write on but that big box looks like it takes up quite a bit of room!

I like being able to track when we complete the activity too. The box is about the size of a Yahtzee box. You could always take the cards out of the box too! 🙂

This seems like a really fun box. Do you think my girls ages 9 and 7 would enjoy it or is it more suited for younger children?
mybigfathappylife says
I think that they would, there is such a variety of activities. It’s mostly to push you to spend time with your child/children.

Thanks Nicole, I know most kids will enjoy spending the time together doing the activities.
