This mimosa float is the perfect fizzy brunch beverage or to spoil someone special with breakfast in bed.
If you are looking for the perfect beverage for a Mother’s Day brunch or a girl’s brunch, then this mimosa float is it. This mimosa float would also be amazing on the tray to surprise someone with breakfast in bed.
This cocktail is perfect for those who love creamsicles with its citrusy, creamy taste. You only need a couple of ingredients to make these delicious drinks.
The great thing about this fizzy cocktail is you can choose how strong or light you want the drink to be. So it is completely customizable.
You could also change this recipe up and use a flavored orange juice like orange, peach, mango or orange pineapple.
Mimosa Float
To make a mimosa float, add orange juice to the bottom of the glasses. Next, carefully pour the champagne into the glass. I usually aim for a 50/50 mix between orange juice and champagne, however, if you would like a stronger cocktail just add more champagne than orange juice. Be sure to leave room in the glass for the ice cream.
Then add two scoops of vanilla ice cream to the glasses. Since I used a champagne glass, I used a very small cookie dough scoop to scoop the ice cream.
Garnish with an orange slice. Enjoy!
