A look at the Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah onboard the Disney Wish.
On our recent Disney Cruise on the Disney Wish, we had a Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah. I thought I would share an in-depth look at this stateroom. The Disney Wish is a gorgeous ship and the beauty continues into the staterooms. While the staterooms are not “themed” there is different artwork behind the bed that correlates to the fish extender and stateroom number plaque in the hallway.
If you are looking for more information about cruising on the Disney Wish, I have a blog post with everything you need to know about the ship and one with an in-depth look at the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge.
Bathroom
I love that the majority of the staterooms on Disney cruise ships have a split bathroom design. The Disney Wish bathroom has some lovely updates. They placed a “glass” shower door above the tub which was so much better than having a shower curtain. The door can swing both outwards and in towards the tub. Also since this ship was designed to have refillable bath products they were in a location that did not interfere with the space of the shower as much as on some of the other ships.
We had no problem storing all of our health and beauty items in between the two bathrooms. There was plenty of space.
Stateroom Storage
I was worried prior to our cruise about how much storage there was going to be in the stateroom. I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity of storage. The closet is made of three areas where two of the areas are for hanging clothes and the third section is a bunch of shelves. This was the perfect spot to put the majority of our clothing.
The bed in your stateroom is raised up, so that you can store your suitcases under the bed.
Verandah
The verandah on the Disney Wish has some updated/modern white furniture – chairs and a small table. It was the perfect spot to enjoy coffee and breakfast or to take a break.
