I have been so so excited for the Goosebumps 2 movie to come to Blu-ray/DVD because it is a super fun-filled adventure the whole family can enjoy! As a kid, I read ALL of the Goosebumps books by R.L. Stine and I am so excited that my daughter is now at the age where she can read the books, too! Did you grow up reading Goosebumps books? My family loves to have family movie nights with themed food and drinks to help us get in the spirit of the movie. But you know what? It doesn’t have to take a lot of time to have a fun-filled family movie night! This year I am starting a New Year, New Tradition of having a family movie night at least once a month, will you join me? To start off our new tradition we watched Goosebumps 2! Goosebumps 2, rated PG, is the second family-friendly movie based off of R.L. Stine’s book series. The movie stars Jack Black, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Chris Parnell, Ken Jeong, Madison Iseman, Jeremy Ray Taylor, and Caleel Harris. One of my favorite scenes from the movie is the gummy bear one which is why I’ve included them in my Goosebumps Punch!

Movie Night Snacks
In our house movie night, includes themed drinks and snacks. First up is Goosebumps Punch which is super easy to make and tasty, too! You will combine lemon-lime soda with green food coloring, scoop rainbow sherbet into a glass, and pour the lemon-lime soda mixture over it. Top with gummy bears…hopefully, these ones won’t try to bite you!
For our snack, Chocolate Monster Bark, you will pour melted chocolate chips onto a parchment lined baking tray and spread it out into a thin layer. Then add candy-coated, chocolate-flavored candy and candy eyes to the top of the chocolate. Freeze until firm and then break into pieces for serving. To serve Goosebumps treats for movie night, place stacks of books on your table to provide different heights. Add both Goosebumps Punch and Chocolate Monster Bark, along with bowls of gummy bears, and individual servings of popcorn in treat cups.
