All parents want to teach their children to be great citizens and to leave the world a better place. A great way to teach kids about waste and preserving resources is with a game. The earlier good habits are ingrained, the easier it is to incorporate them into your life.
For the last 3 years, my daughter has focused on making the world a better place by picking up litter and making sure the whole family is recycling. When we found out that her empty Honest Kids® Organic Appley Ever After® juice pouches could be recycled, she was thrilled! Plus, it couldn’t be simpler to do.

It makes me feel good about stocking up on Honest Kids® Organic Appley Ever After® juice pouches and multipacks at Walmart. I also love that Honest Kids® juices are sweetened with organic fruit juice, are USDA certified organic, and contain 100% vitamin C in each serving.
Recycling Game
By getting the whole family involved in recycling, it will help your children learn how their actions can have an effect on the environment. A great way to teach children about what can and cannot be recycled is by playing a game.
This recycling game is easy to play but does require your child to think about whether an item is recyclable or if it is garbage. Included in the free printable is a garbage can and recycling can cards along with game pieces with different household items on them. Your child will pick a card from a stack and determine if the item should be thrown in the garbage or recycled.
You can download this fun recycling game here.
Are you as excited as I am about the Honest Kids® and Walmart juice pouch recycling program?

My youngest would love this game. He’s all about sorting activities. A refresher on recycling would be good as we head back to school #client
