I really enjoy writing a travel bucket list at the beginning of the year of everything I hope to accomplish that year. I love that a bucket list motivates me, gets me excited, and makes me feel accomplished at the end of the year.
Last year we took a road trip through New Mexico stopping at Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Bandelier National Monument, Tent Rocks National Monument, and White Sands National Park, we took a transatlantic Disney Cruise with ports in Azores, Lisbon, Seville, Malaga, Cartegena, and Barcelona, we spent a week in Paris, Alsace, and Disneyland Paris, and lots of central Texas exploration throughout the year. I cannot wait to see where 2020 takes us. Here’s a look at our travel bucket list for 2020:
London and Italy
Our big trip this year will be another trip to Europe but to all new places for all of us! We will be taking a spring trip to London and exploring Italy by train. We will be hitting Venice, Florence, Pisa, Rome, and Naples (Pompeii). I am so excited because we will be visiting several sites that I have been dreaming about seeing for 20 years. I would love to hear if you have any must-see, do or eat in any of these cities!
Walt Disney World
Another bucket list for this year is a fall or December trip to Walt Disney World. It’s been a little while since we took a family trip to Walt Disney World and we would love to see the new Star Wars Land – Galaxy’s Edge.
Visit a ‘New to Us’ State
I am also hoping that we can fit in a long weekend trip. I am still debating which state to visit maybe Georgia, but I would really like to check another state or two off our list if we plan to visit all 50 states before S graduations from high school. You can find out more about this project here.
Central Texas
I really want to embark on lots of day trips to all the amazing small and big cities in Texas. There is so much to do and see locally!
What are your travel plans for 2020?
