How fun! I wish Atlanta had something similar. When I was living in California they had parks like these.

Thanks Louida! Atlanta has some awesome places though 🙂

This looks like a great day out and reasonably priced as well. So nice that it’s got heritage status and you’re supporting that by going. I’m sure my son would love it there.

Thanks Emma! The prices were definitely good – cheaper than the fair!

That park is simply beautiful! I can’t believe it has been around for so long. What a great treasure to have in your city. I hope to visit New Orleans one day and this park will definitely be added to my list of things to see and do. Thank you so much for sharing!

I remember going to City Park as a kid during Celebration in the Oaks, the annual holiday event, and always loving Storyland but especially the ladybug roller coaster! They’ve added so many great new additions in the last few years like the mini golf course and Morning Call, where you can get cafe au lait and beignets. City Park is definitely one of my favorite spots in town!

City Park is absolutely beautiful – I can see why it’s one of your favorites. The ladybug roller coaster was awesome – definitely a family favorite! I have been wanting to attend Celebration in the Oaks for years now. Maybe this year I can get it on our schedule! City Park is absolutely beautiful
